Description
Fully onchain order books used to be a dream — the tech simply wasn't fast enough. RISEx shows the time has come. It's a perp DEX and the flagship product of RISE, an ultra-fast Ethereum L2 (the chain itself is backed by Vitalik Buterin, the founders of Aave and Polygon, plus Galaxy Digital, Finality Capital and DACM). Order book updates land in about 1 millisecond.
The feel is pure CEX — no lag, no waiting — yet every order, position and piece of collateral lives onchain. And unlike Hyperliquid or Lighter, the order book isn't sealed off in its own chain: it shares state with the rest of DeFi on RISE. Same block, same transaction, full atomicity. Other protocols can plug into it directly.
Features so far: portfolio margin where your whole account works as collateral and idle margin earns yield automatically, the XLP market-making vault, deposits from Ethereum, Arbitrum and Base. Stocks, FX and commodities with 24/7 trading are next on the roadmap.
We're still very early: the exchange runs in private mainnet (invite codes only), liquidity and the list of pairs are still growing. The points program launched on July 20 with retro rewards promised to early users, and exchange points = exchange tokens = chain tokens. Farming terms and the API are in the docs.
