- What is delegation?
- Delegation is when a token holder transfers their voting power to an active participant, who monitors proposals, analyses them and decides in the best interest of the community. It turns passive token holding into active participation in protocol governance.
- What does cp0x do as a delegate?
- We read and draft proposals, ask questions to authors, take part in community calls, vote, and always explain our position.
- What principles guide your votes?
- Three things guide us. Fairness: we stand against reckless spending and look for solutions that benefit everyone equally. Transparency: every vote comes with an explanation, and our decisions are consistent. Decentralisation: we support what reduces reliance on single players or foundations. We vote against what centralises power, obscures spending or spends without justification. Where there is not enough information we abstain, and where the consequences are ambiguous we take it back to the community for discussion.
- What do I get by delegating to cp0x?
- Oversight of how millions in DAO treasuries are spent, a say in protocol architecture and its future, and a vote that works for fairness, transparency and equal opportunity.
- How do I delegate, and do I lose my tokens?
- Connect your wallet and confirm delegation in the card of the DAO you hold tokens in. Tokens stay in your wallet: delegation transfers the voting power, not the assets, and you can revoke it at any time.
- Which DAOs is cp0x a delegate in, and where can I see the votes?
- We are active delegates in Lido, Arbitrum, Optimism, Uniswap, Ethena, Obol, CoW and 14 more DAOs. Each of these names links to our delegate profile with the full voting history.
- What do you check in on-chain proposals?
- We resolve every address from the calldata with a separate on-chain call instead of judging it by how it looks. Transfer amounts are decoded from the bytecode, not taken from the description. We check for lookalike addresses, treasury drains through delegatecall and frontend substitution. If an address does not resolve or an amount is not decoded, we mark the conclusion as unverified rather than presenting a guess as fact.
